Posted March 09, 2019 16:32:47MSFT Yahoo has been on a mission to reinvent the finance app since the company acquired the rights to the Microsoft Financial Services Platform in 2015.
The app was recently acquired by the company, which has made it easier for people to access and manage financial information.
But now, MSFT is going the other direction with a new login system that appears to be just as unhelpful for those trying to use the service.
In a blog post posted to its MSFT Blog, the company says the new Yahoo Finance Login will work for anyone with an MSFT account, regardless of the type of account.
“We’re working hard to make it easier to use our platform for everyone, including those who have an MSF account,” it says.
“Our goal is to make the experience as seamless and convenient as possible for you.”
If you use an MS F account, but you don’t want to sign up for Yahoo Finance, you can still sign up on the new website, but it appears to require you to provide your MSF ID.
It also says the Yahoo Finance app is now available on the iPhone and iPad.
“It’s important to note that our login and registration process is separate from Yahoo Finance’s,” the company writes.
“You will not be prompted for your MSFT ID to access our app, nor will you need to enter a username and password for your Yahoo Finance account.”
The new Yahoo finance login looks similar to the existing Yahoo Finance desktop app.
You enter your MSFAID username and account number, and then you’re asked to select your preferred login method, as well as enter your desired password.
The new login is also not as simple as signing up for an account with your existing Yahoo account, according to the blog post.
“When you first login with your MSFC login, you’ll be asked to verify your MS FT ID, which will then allow you to log in to Yahoo Finance,” the blog says.
“Once you’re signed up, you may then be prompted to select the option to login with an existing MSFT Account.
If you choose to do this, you will then be asked for a username, password, and your MS FID.
If this option is selected, you’re now logged in with an active MSFT User ID and Password.
You can review your MS FAID at any time by clicking on the ‘Log in with Yahoo’ icon in the top right corner of the screen.”
A new Yahoo website has been launched to let users search for mortgage deals and other financial data.
