Finances are a complicated area.

The Bank of Canada said last month that its own survey showed that “most Canadians think their monthly payment is about $1,000,” which the government considers a reasonable amount to cover their living expenses.

But the big question is whether a home worth the asking will actually be worth the cash.
“It’s not like you can’t pay the mortgage with cash, it just takes a little longer,” says David D’Amico, a Toronto real estate agent.
“That’s why I advise people to keep a balance in their savings accounts and to take advantage of tax-free savings.”
For the uninitiated, mortgage debt is an outstanding amount that can quickly add up.
And when you do, you can end up with an expensive loan with no money in the bank to pay it off.

You could end to having to pay a bigger monthly mortgage payment if the price of your home falls.

When you buy a home, you usually need to spend more than you earn.
But when you sell it, you often have to cover the higher purchase price.
If this is the case, the lender might have to charge you a higher interest rate than if you had simply paid off the loan.5.

The higher your mortgage payment, the less you will have to repay.
The less you have to earn, the higher your monthly payments will be.
